The Chinese Democratic Education Foundation (CDEF) awarded the 33rd "Outstanding Democrats" title to two resistance civilian groups, the "89 June 4th Resistance Group" in mainland China 30 years ago, and the "Hong Kong Era Revolutionary Resistance Group" this year. The award ceremony was held on the 27th at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, the founding father of Chinatown in San Francisco.

The "89 June 4th Resistance Group" is a group of Chinese ordinary citizens, including workers, businessmen, civil servants, etc., who fought against the Chinese Communist army in the 1989 Tiananmen massacre with flesh and blood to defend the petitioners. Most of them were severely sentenced and persecuted by the Chinese authorities, and their lives were bleak and hard. They are real heroes and the backbone of China.

The "Hong Kong era revolutionary resistance group" is so called "Brave People" in the " Hong Kong era revolutionary" movement in Hong Kong. As the protests continued, the Hong Kong police became more and more violent under the command and support of the Hong Kong and Beijing authorities. Among the protesters in Hong Kong, there appeared the " Brave People ", who stood up violently to resist police violence and defended themselves, and was defiled by the Beijing and Hong Kong authorities as "Rioters." The emergence of the "Hong Kong era revolutionary resistance group" is a natural reaction of the CCP and Hong Kong authorities to ignore the peaceful and rational demonstrations of millions of people. The people of Hong Kong are fearless and united, and they are united in peace and bravery actions together. The "five major demands are indispensable" and "recovering Hong Kong, the era revolution " is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
